The Challenge
An upscale fitness club in Houston, needed to grow brand awareness, increase membership leads, and build a community that kept members coming back. When I was promoted into the Marketing Director role, social presence was very minimal and the member retention program had gone dormant.
What I Did
Social Media & Brand Growth
Built and managed the club's full social presence across Instagram and Facebook. Over six months, Instagram account views grew from 599 to 7,958 and Facebook climbed from 11.4K to 35.1K average unique page views. Grew the email list to 10K subscribers through lead nurturing and lifecycle marketing — consistent content and campaign strategy.

Fit Perks: Community Partnership Program
Revived and completely revamped the dormant Fit Perks program, turning it into a community-led growth engine. Negotiated exclusive member discounts (co-marketing and partnership marketing) with 200+ local businesses including chiropractic offices, smoothie shops, coffee shops, and fine dining restaurants, increasing member retention and perceived membership value.

Produced 4-5 exclusive member events including happy hours and nightclub partnerships designed to reward existing members while driving new leads. Each event included a built-in referral mechanic: members brought a guest who received a free trial pass, tracked as a documented lead, creating a repeatable community-driven acquisition loop.
